The Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Nasarawa State, High Chief Douglas Otaru has decried the lack of support and financial commitment from Aspirants who are interested in the party’s tickets for the 2027 general elections.

Otaru who stated this in a telephone conversation with our correspondent on Wednesday mlamented that some of the Aspirants have never visited the party’s Secretariat or office in their Local Government Area.

He declared that the State Working Committee(SWC) of the rulling party is just silent and watching those who thinks they can reap where they did not sow.

The APC Spokesman who referred to them as demonstrators stated that are merely on political gymnastics.

“They don’t support the party, no financial commitment to the party yet, they are expecting tickets? I don’t understand the logic and rationale.

“The party as an omnibus is for everyone but the tickets are not for all comers. This is my honest opinion on those who thinks there’s free food in Freetown,” he stated further.

He however commended Governor Abdullahi Sule over what he described as unprecedented and unmatched achievements so far in office.
