Most Reverend Daniel Okoh said the festival teaches muslims about sacrifice, love, and kindness, which are values shared by both Christians and Muslims.

He urged Nigerians to remember those going through hard times, especially residents of Mokwa in Niger State due to serious flooding where many lives have been lost and homes destroyed.

He called on churches and Christians to support those in need; by giving food, clothes, money, or offering prayers and kind words as CAN is working with the government and other groups to make sure help reaches those in need .
