A truck which conveyed paper materials caught fire along Zuba – Mandalla Road in the Federal Capital Territory since around seven o’clock in the evening yesterday is yet to be evacuated.

Our Correspondent reports that the situation is already causing traffic gridlock along the road.

Some motorists and commuters who spoke with him expressed concern that the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, on the FCT is not alive to its responsibilities for not evacuating the truck 24 hours after the accident.

They therefore called on the FRSC and other relevant Government’s Agencies to do the needful before night fall today to avoid further accident as a result of the truck that has doubled crossed the highway as a result of the accident.
