Former Plateau Military Governor, Col. Muhammad Mana, Passes Away
The former Military Governor of Plateau State, Colonel Muhammad Mana (rtd.), has died.
According to Dockaysworld, Mana passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2025, after a brief illness.
His death has drawn heartfelt tributes from leaders across the country, including Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, who described it as a painful loss not only to his family but also to the people of Plateau and the nation at large.
Mana served as the Military Administrator of Plateau State between 1993 and 1996, before later representing Adamawa North in the Senate.
During his tenure, he was widely recognized for initiating projects and policies that advanced development in the state and contributed significantly to national growth.
Governor Mutfwang praised Mana’s legacy, highlighting his efforts in fostering unity, peace, and progress. He noted that his wisdom and leadership would be greatly missed, especially at a time when Nigeria seeks stability.
