Gunmen Kidnap Bingham University Professor in Jos

Prof. Musa Dankyau, a senior lecturer at Bingham University, Abuja, has been abducted by gunmen from his residence in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The incident reportedly took place on Monday night at SA Estate, along Guratopp Road, where armed men stormed the area and forcibly took the professor to an unknown destination.

The abduction has triggered widespread concern within the local community and academic circles, sparking urgent efforts to secure his release.

Security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, confirmed the development, stating that, “The incident occurred on Monday at about 9:30pm when armed assailants stormed SA Estate along Guratopp Road and whisked the professor away to an unknown destination.” He added that a coordinated effort is currently underway to rescue the victim and bring the perpetrators to justice.
