Just In: Tribune Bureau Chief, Dr. Leo Usigbe, Passes Away

Dr. Leo Usigbe, the Tribune newspaper’s correspondent at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, has passed away.

News of his death was shared on July 25 by his colleague, Mrs. Juliana Taiwo Obalonye, in a WhatsApp group platform. According to her, Dr. Usigbe had been ill for some time, “but we didn’t think it would result in death,” she said.

Until his passing, Dr. Usigbe had reported from the Aso Rock Villa for over fifteen years. He also served as the Bureau Chief of the Tribune newspaper in Abuja and the North.
