Kalu Congratulates Soludo on Re-election as Anambra Governor

Former Governor of Abia State and Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has extended warm congratulations to the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, on his re-election.

Kalu said Soludo’s victory reflects the collective will of the people of Anambra State to renew their trust and confidence in his leadership.

In a statement issued from his media office on Sunday, the former governor commended the peaceful conduct of the election and the inclusive participation of all political parties, describing it as a testament to the growing maturity of Nigeria’s democracy and the people’s commitment to the electoral process.

According to him, “Elections are an important reminder that political leadership is a call to serve, not a contest of personalities.”

He urged Governor Soludo to use the renewed mandate to advance development initiatives, strengthen security, improve infrastructure, and enhance the welfare of the people of Anambra State.

Kalu further emphasized the importance of unity among leaders in the Southeast, noting that “beyond party lines, our collective responsibility as leaders from the region is to work together for the progress of our zone and the unity of our country. Cooperation among governors, legislators, and community leaders is vital to attract investment, foster peace, and ensure sustainable development across the Southeast.”
