NCPC Boss, Bishop Adegbite, Hails First Lady Sen. Oluremi Tinubu at 65
The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, has extolled the virtues of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Distinguished Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, as she celebrates her 65th birthday today, September 21, 2025.
This was contained in a statement issued by Celestine Toruka, Deputy Director and Head of Media and Public Relations of the commission, and made available to journalists in Abuja.
In his birthday message, Bishop Adegbite described the First Lady as the “indisputable Mother of the Nation” and the “Esther of our time.” He further commended her as a quintessential leader, a pacesetter, and the first First Lady in the nation’s history to have served as a Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as well as the first to occupy the exalted office while being an ordained Minister of God.
The NCPC boss emphasized that posterity will be kind to Senator Tinubu for her invaluable contributions to Nigeria’s growth, particularly in the current democratic dispensation. According to him, “Your unwavering support to Mr. President is palpable even to the blind.”
He went on to describe her as a rare gem, a woman of candor and capacity, whose love for humanity—especially the less privileged, women, and children—is contagious and extraordinary.
“As you mark your birthday today, the Chairman, Board, and entire staff of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission felicitate with you on this auspicious occasion. You are indeed the Mother of NCPC, and it is gratifying to know that you continue to trace God’s faithfulness in your life, maintaining unshaken faith in His divine timeline,” he added.
Bishop Adegbite also urged the First Lady to continue upholding God in all her endeavors, acknowledging Him as her Ebenezer. He prayed for God’s grace and strength upon her life, so she may achieve countless milestones in service to both God and the nation.
Additionally, he prayed for her continued good health of mind and body to enable her to successfully carry out her mission of lifting men, women, and children out of poverty.
