Retired Kano judge, justice Wada Rano is dead, aged 76 years

A former Kano State High Court judge, Justice Wada Umar Rano, has died at the age of 76.

Late Justice Rano, who retired in 2013, died on Thursday at about 11.20 am at a hospital due to ill health, his eldest son, Umar Wada Umar Rano, confirmed the news

Umar said his father’s funeral prayers would hold by 3.00 pm today at his Sharada residence, close to Kano Hisba board headquarters, in Kano Municipal Local Government Area.

He is survived by two wives, several children, and grandchildren
