Senator Orji Kalu distributes 15,000 bags of rice, 5,000 bags of fertilizer, other projects to constituents

The Senator representing Abia North in the 10th National Assembly, Orji Uzor Kalu, has disbursed 15,000 bags of rice and 5,000 bags of fertilizer to his constituents.

Kalu took to his verified Facebook page on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 to announce the reciprocal gesture.

He secured the mandate of the people of Abia North to retain his seat in the Senate where he was the Chief Whip from 2019 to 2023.

Read his post on Facebook :“I’m thrilled to hear that the 15,000 bags of rice and 5,000 bags of fertilizer I recently distributed across Abia North Senatorial District are now being shared among the various wards.

“The essence of democracy is the people, which is why I embarked on the renovation of an additional 80 schools across the five LGAs in Abia North.

“This includes the distribution of educational materials such as science textbooks, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, and school bags.

“Additionally, I have facilitated the construction of rural roads, the provision of solar streetlights, scholarships, and various human development programmes.”
