Reasons youths blocked streets of Akure in protest.

Palpable tension has erupted as some youths in Ondo State on Wednesday stormed Akure the state capital to protest alleged detaintion of some of them by the state Attorney General Kayode Ajulo, SAN.

The youths who are said to be in their hundreds carried different placards with inscriptions kicking against the development.

The protesters blocked the roundabout of the ShopRite causing serious traffic Jam.

Hundreds of aggrieved farmers and youths from Ajagbusi community in the Igbatoro area of Akure North Local Government Area had on Tuesday staged a protest, blocking the State Secretariat road in Alagbaka, Akure, over the killing of three farmers by suspected herdsmen.
