Prof. Mrs C. A. Olanrewaju Of University of Abuja Celebrates Golden Jubilee And Elevation To Professorial Chair

Prof. Mrs Comfort Adetutu Olanrewaju of Parasitology and Public Health Department of Biological Sciences, University of Abuja has celebrated her 50th Birthday and Elevation to Professorial Chair.

The Guest Speaker during the occasion in First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada Abuja, the Minister in charge of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Paiko Kore, Rev. Prof. Siyan Peters thanked God for His faithfulness upon the celebrant.

Rev. Prof. Siyan Peters whose message centered on Grace Upon Grace described the feat achieved so far by Prof. Mrs C. A. Olanrewaju as worthy of testimony and celebration.

He attributed commitment to service to God and humanity, scholarship to the school, tolerance and perseverance as some of the factors responsible for her success and promotion in life.

Taking his text from Psalms 75 verse 6 and 7, the Guest Speaker said promotion does not come from man but God.

While congratulating the Celebrant on her Golden Jubilee and Elevation to Professorial Chair, Rev. Prof Siyan Peters admonished her not to relent in her service to God and humanity.

In a goodwill message, the Director, Entrepreneurship Department of University of Abuja, Prof R. T. Idowu described the celebrant as a God fearing scholar who has impacted positively in the lives of her students, colleagues and associates.

Prof. Idowu who also congratulated Prof. C. A. Olanrewaju on her elevation advised her to keep the flag flying.

Also speaking, the Minister in charge of First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada Abuja, Reverend Deji Oyelami appreciated God for His faithfulness in the life of Prof. C. A. Olanrewaju which he described as a dedicated member of the Church.

While praying for continuos favour and blessings in the life of the Celebrant, Rev. Deji Oyelami stressed the need for everyone to always put God first in their quest to greatness in their endeavours.

Church members, school mates, fellowship members, students, colleagues, family members and other guests who spoke at the event equally congratulated Prof. Mrs Comfort Adetutu Olanrewaju on her Golden Jubilee and Elevation to Professorial Chair.

Earlier in her testimony, the Celebrant, Prof. Mrs Comfort Adetutu Olanrewaju expressed gratitude to God for her a compliment in life.

Prof. Mrs Comfort Adetutu Olanrewaju therefore urged everyone to always put God first in whatever they doein life.

In a vote of thanks, the Husband of the Celebrant and Head, Statistics Department, University of Abuja, Dr. Samuel Olanrenwaju described her wife as a Virtuous Woman worthy of celebrating on her achievement.

While thanking all the Guests, Officiating Ministers , Families, Friends and Associates as well as other invited personalities for honouring the family’s invitation, Dr. Samuel Olanrenwaju wished everyone all the best in their endeavours.
