May 27: Senator Akpabio Celebrates Nigerian Children

President of the, Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabio, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, received and celebrated Nigerian children on Children’s Day.

The rules of the Senate were also suspended to allow Nigerian children into the chambers to celebrate their day with the Senators.

The Senate President used the opportunity to publicly acknowledge and celebrate the children’s contributions to society urging them to aspire to be great leaders of tomorrow.

Children of various schools in Abuja attended the Senate plenary to celebrate their special day. Akpabio took time to have a handshake and compliment the children.
