FRSC Corps Marshal tasks newly promoted officers on Professionalism and dedication to service

Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC Mallam Shehu Mohammed says the Corps is more determined to provide a safe motoring environment for socio-economic activities in the country.

The Corps Marshal stated this while decorating newly promoted senior officers in Abuja.

Mallam Shehu Mohammed said the Corps had come up with more initiatives to enhance the efficiency of officers and men in checking the execess of motorists.

According to him, the Corps has placed more emphasis on public sensitisation and enforcement to inculcate the best driving culture on road users.

Mallam Shehu Mohammed, however, urged the newly promoted officers to give in their best and make a meaningful impact to achieve the Corps Mandate.

In his remarks, a member of the House of Representatives Olaide Mohammed urged officers of the FRSC to view their roles as a direct responsibility to protect lives and build enduring legacies.

Mr. Olaide Mohammed who expressed pride being a former personnel of the FRSC said as a lawmaker now he has continued to advocate for the Corps’ visibility and relevance.

He also pledged the unwavering support of the 10th National Assembly, under Speaker Abbas Tajudeen, for the growth and reform of the Corps.

Speaking on behalf of the promoted senior officer, the newly Corps Commander, Mr Adewale Ameen commended the FRSC for providing a level playing ground for all qualified officers for the promotion examination.

He, however, pledged that the officers would redouble their efforts in taking the Corps to the highest level.

Recently, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume approved the promotion of 51 new Corps Commanders and 49 Deputy Corps Commanders.
