David Mark Pays Tribute to Late Senator Mohammed Mana, Former Plateau MILAD
The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former Senate President, Senator David Mark, has expressed profound grief over the death of Senator Mohammed Mana, former Military Administrator of Plateau State and one-time Deputy Minority Whip of the Senate.
Senator Mark described the late Mana as “a fine officer and gentleman who served the nation with dignity and honour.”
Reflecting on their long-standing bond, Mark said:
> “In the military, Mana was a soldier who defended Nigeria’s territorial integrity and played a key role in promoting the transition to democratic rule.
Mana and I served together in the Nigerian Army with distinction and left without blemish. By coincidence, we later reunited in the 6th Senate (2007–2011).”
He further described Mana as a patriotic Nigerian, team player, and cheerful personality who upheld justice, equity, and fairness without compromising his integrity.
Senator Mark urged Mana’s family, as well as the government and people of Adamawa State, to find comfort in the fact that he lived an exemplary and impactful life worthy of emulation.
> “Mana was patriotic and a jolly good fellow. He believed in justice, equity, and fairness to all,” Mark said.
He prayed for God’s mercy to grant the deceased eternal rest.
