The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has celebrated the retirement of two of its senior officers, Barr. Sonny Ebiyaibo, former Director of Administration, and Mr. Agiobu Fyneface, former Chief Executive Officer in the Accounts Department, who bowed out of service in August.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by Celestine Toruka, Deputy Director and Head of Media and Public Relations at NCPC, and made available to journalists in Abuja.

Speaking during the ceremony held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, the Executive Secretary of NCPC, Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, congratulated the retirees for their dedication, hard work, and invaluable contributions to the Commission. He described retirement as a new chapter in life and commended them for their years of service.

In his remarks, Barr. Sonny Ebiyaibo expressed gratitude to the staff for their support and goodwill, highlighting the Commission’s distinct Christian work environment, which, according to him, spiritually impacts its workforce.

The highpoint of the occasion was the cutting of birthday cakes in honour of the retiring officers.

The event drew notable personalities, including Sen. Rev. Amos Johanna, former Director of Operations at the Commission, alongside other retired Federal Permanent Secretaries and Directors.
