Presidential Aide Urges Gov. Alia’s Media Team to Amplify FG Reforms
From Dooshima Terkura, Makurdi
The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, has urged closer collaboration between the media team of Governor Hyacinth Alia and that of the Presidency to effectively project the developmental strides of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration.
Mr. Onanuga made the call in Makurdi during an interactive session with the Governor’s media team.
At the meeting, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Tersoo Kula, delivered a comprehensive presentation on Governor Alia’s projects and achievements. The report outlined the administration’s interventions in critical sectors such as road construction and rehabilitation, agriculture, healthcare, education, ICT, industrialization, humanitarian services, and human capital development.
Onanuga described the progress as a reflection of a focused and deliberate approach to governance. He expressed surprise at the level of accomplishments recorded in just two years, noting that Governor Alia’s prudent management of state revenues—largely boosted by the outcomes of President Tinubu’s reforms—had made the successes possible.
He further commended the Governor for demonstrating a clear grasp of the people’s needs and a strong commitment to addressing them.
According to him, President Tinubu is impressed with APC governors who are delivering tangible results. He emphasized the need for synergy among the media teams of APC-controlled states to ensure Nigerians are well-informed about the administration’s policies, reforms, and achievements.
