Tinubu Launches Ogun Cargo Airport, Expands Economic Drive
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to launch the Cargo Airport in Iperu, Ogun State today, alongside the inauguration of two commercial aircraft designated for the export and import of goods, as part of efforts to enhance the state’s economic development.
During the visit, the President will also commission the newly constructed building of the Federal Operations Unit of the Nigerian Customs Service, as well as its operational vehicles.
Following the engagements, President Tinubu will return to Lagos to continue the Easter holiday, where he is expected to inaugurate several infrastructure projects executed by the administration of Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Among the projects slated for commissioning are the iconic Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information System Building, a Multi-Agency Complex named in honour of the President, and a School Complex.
Before heading back to Abuja, the President is scheduled to visit Bayelsa State on April 10, where he will commission multiple completed projects by Governor Duoye Diri.
