The Bezalel Creative Conference 2026 has challenged creatives to move beyond talent and embrace value creation, leadership, innovation, and enterprise as the global creative industry continues to evolve rapidly.

Speaking at the conference held at the BUPF International Conference Centre, the convener and Founder of Bezalel Design Academy, Aanuoluwa Oyewole, described the event as a platform intentionally designed to prepare creatives for the realities of a changing global economy.

The conference, themed *“The New Wave: From Talent to Value Creation,”* brought together students, designers, innovators, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals for conversations focused on creativity, entrepreneurship, sustainable impact, and the future of work.

According to Aanuoluwa, while access to creative tools and digital platforms has increased, many creatives still struggle with underpayment, poor positioning, and limited opportunities because they have not fully translated their talents into measurable value and sustainable ventures.

He urged creatives to evolve beyond technical execution into thinkers, builders, entrepreneurs, and leaders capable of solving problems and creating impact-driven systems.

“Creatives must become thinkers who understand problems and identify opportunities. They must become builders who transform ideas into sustainable ventures and leaders who influence industries and drive change,” he stated.

Aanuoluwa emphasised that the future belongs to creatives who combine innovation, adaptability, strategic thinking, and execution to create economic and social value.

Partners, sponsors, speakers, panelists, and the Bells University Students Association were commended for supporting conversations centred on innovation, the future of work, and value-driven creativity.
