Amac /Bwari Reps Aspirant pledges to Sacrifice 40% of salary for Constituent welfare.
House of Representatives aspirant for AMAC / BWARI federal constituency under the platform of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC, Hon. Pharm.
Speaking to journalist shortly after declaring his intention to contest for the seat , Hon Chilaka said he was in the race to render service to the constituency, adding that he has the right credentials and experience to represent the Amac / Bwari federal constituency.
Unfolding his blueprint, Hon Chilaka said he will proritize the welfare of his constituents and robust legislation that will impact on the life of the Constituent, adding that “the people would be the center of my representation”
” My priority now is the people, you know it’s a legislative office , I will run two legs one legislative and two administrative . I will sacrifice 40% of my salary for the upkeep and welfare of my constituents ”
Hon Chilaka who expressed confidence of defeating the incumbent and picking the party’s ticket noted that he enjoys the massive support of the grassroot in the Federal constituent.
“I must start from the grassroot and make everybody happy, so let me start from the grassroot and make everybody happy, it’s people will decide , I cannot rate myself , it’s people that will rate me. I am a grassroot person, I have the grassroot, with the grassroot I will defeat him”
The aspirant who criticized and rejected any consensus arrangement from the party leadership, said it will be unfair to impose candidate through consensus, arguing that consensus may produce a wrong candidate
” What matters is getting the grassroot and technicalities, and I have the grassroot. I won’t step down, I believe I will scale through the prinaries. I will like to test my popularity, consensus may be wrong and produce a wrong candidate, I want the party to know and see my popularity, If I tell you now that I am popular, you will not believe me, only when the results comes out you will believe”
Meanwhile, Director General of Chilaka Sigmund Campaigns Organisation, Engr. Kenneth Iwueke has described the aspirant as experienced, prepared and has capacity to provide quality legislative frame work to impact on AMAC,/ Bwari federal constituency.
“He wants to write the wrongs where others have failed . He will create jobs , improve manpower development and work with the executives on infrastructure development ”
He accused the incumbent member of the house of Representatives for AMAC / Bwari Hon. Chinedu Obika of poor performance and losing touch with the grassroot.
“You don’t reinforce failure , let failure fail, the masses will decides this election and it will be in favour of Pharm. Chilaka ”
