The Youth Leader of the Adamawa State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Caretaker Committee, Abubakar Kunchi, has praised Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, for his unwavering legal efforts aimed at ensuring the survival of the party amid ongoing internal and external challenges.

In a statement made available to journalists in Yola, Kunchi described Turaki as a “Hero of Democracy,” commending his determination to restore and protect the legitimacy of the PDP through constitutional and lawful processes.
Kunchi also applauded members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) for the confidence they have shown in the National Chairman, noting that such support has played a significant role in guiding the party through its current legal and political difficulties.
“While all legal matters remain before courts of competent jurisdiction, we remain confident in the leadership of our party under the distinguished Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki,” Kunchi stated.
According to him, Turaki’s dedication, experience, and legal expertise have continued to inspire hope among millions of PDP supporters across the country.
The youth leader urged all genuine PDP members, as well as Nigerians at large, to support the party leadership and the ongoing legal processes, emphasizing the importance of unity and resilience during this period.
He further encouraged all candidates contesting elections on the PDP platform to remain optimistic, expressing confidence that the legal issues confronting the party would be resolved through due process and judicial procedures.
“We have every confidence that the matters before the courts will ultimately be resolved in favour of justice and democracy,” Kunchi added.
He also appealed to party candidates and supporters to remain calm, law-abiding, and steadfast while awaiting the outcome of the legal proceedings.
