Tinubu Reconvenes FEC, Swears in New RMAFC Commissioners

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday presided over the first meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) in two months, marking the resumption of the council’s sittings after a break.

Before the commencement of the meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, President Tinubu administered the oath of office to two newly appointed Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
The newly inaugurated commissioners are Amina Gamawa, representing Bauchi State, and Abdullahi Mukhtar, representing Kaduna State.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, disclosed that the agenda for the meeting also included the swearing-in of newly appointed Federal Commissioners of the National Population Commission (NPC).
The meeting was attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, members of the Federal Executive Council, and other senior government officials.
The session was the first Federal Executive Council meeting since the council last convened two months ago.
