Tinubu Reaffirms Commitment to Infrastructure, Economic Reforms
President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his administration will continue investing in infrastructure and economic development until the benefits of its ongoing reforms are felt in every household across the country.
The President gave the assurance while commissioning the Access Roads, Power and Water Supply Project to the Informal Sector Layout in Wasa District, Abuja.
Represented by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, President Tinubu described the project as another milestone in the government’s commitment to ensuring that no segment of society is left behind in the nation’s development.
He acknowledged the current economic challenges resulting from the reforms introduced by the administration, stressing that the measures are temporary but necessary to reposition Nigeria’s economy for sustainable growth.
President Tinubu further stated that the government is investing in agriculture to strengthen food security while creating employment opportunities through major infrastructure projects across the country.
Earlier, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Nyesom Wike, described the Wasa project as a strategic intervention designed to address the long-standing demands of artisans and mechanics relocated from the Apo Mechanic Village.
