JAMB Makes O’Level Result Upload Easier, Allows Candidates to Apply from Home

Published

on

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new system that allows candidates to upload their O’Level results from the comfort of their homes, following the verification of such results directly from the examination bodies that conducted the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), beginning with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

The initiative is part of the Board’s renewed commitment to providing efficient, accessible and convenient services to candidates. Under the new arrangement, JAMB will verify candidates’ results directly with the relevant examination bodies, thereby reducing unnecessary visits to Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres, queues and manual processes.
The Board said the technology-driven process would also address challenges associated with manual O’Level result uploads, including misplaced or mixed-up paper results, submission of unverified or fraudulent results, as well as errors in the manual entry of subjects and grades.
Through the integration of JAMB’s eFacility platform with the examination bodies, candidates’ results can now be verified against the records of the issuing examination body before being downloaded into their profiles.
How to Upload and Verify Your O’Level Result
First Level: Verification of Results
Visit “buyresultsverificationcode.ng”.
Enter your NIN and click “Verify NIN”.
Select the required number of sittings and the appropriate examination body or bodies, then click “Continue”.
Enter your email address and GSM number, then click “Pay Now”. You will be redirected to the payment gateway.
Make payment using your debit card or bank transfer.
After successful payment, enter your examination details, including:
Examination number
Examination series
Examination year
Verify your result(s) for the selected number of sittings and proceed to obtain your Verification Code.
Second Level: Upload of O’Level Results
Send “VERIFY” followed by your Verification Code to “55019” or “66019”.
Your result will be uploaded, and you will receive a notification.
Candidates with two sittings will be notified to visit their profile on e-Facility.
On the e-Facility dashboard, click “2026 UTME O’Level Upload”.
Enter your Verification Code. Your two verified results will be displayed.
Select the required subjects from the displayed results, ensuring that:
A minimum of five subjects is selected.
A maximum of nine subjects is selected.
No subject is selected more than once.
Click “Apply the O’Level Results”.
Upon successful upload, you will receive a notification confirming the submission.
JAMB said the verification service would provide candidates with a convenient alternative, particularly during periods of high patronage and network challenges at CBT centres.
The initiative, according to the Board, reflects the commitment of its sixth Registrar, Prof. Segun Aina, to a more customer-oriented and technology-driven service delivery system.
JAMB added that it would continue to deploy technology and collaborate with relevant examination and government agencies to make its services simpler, safer and more accessible to candidates.
