Orji Kalu: Political Structure Beyond Social Media Noise

To those who speculated and wished that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu would face sanctions from the All Progressives Congress (APC) over his alignment with the Governor, Thelma Apollos has said politics is not dictated by sentiments or determined by social media commentary.

According to Apollos, politics is a game of structure, loyalty and the influence of individuals who understand the dynamics of power.
She noted that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has, over the years, built a formidable political structure deeply rooted in the grassroots and firmly entrenched at the highest levels of leadership.
Apollos said Kalu has paid his dues, commands the trust of the people and enjoys the confidence of the party leadership.
She maintained that no campaign of calumny, hate speech or voluminous epistles could erode his political standing or alter the position of those vested with authority.
She further stated that opinions expressed in the digital space do not translate into electoral or political capacity.
“Let this be clear. Know this and know peace,” Apollos said.
