‘No Vacancy in Abia Government House’ — Uche Backs Otti’s 2027 Bid

A chieftain and prominent figure in the Labour Party in Abia State, Mazi Emmanuel Uche, has assured Governor Alex Otti and the Labour Party of massive votes from the people of Arochukwu for another term in office in next year’s general election.

Speaking with journalists on Tuesday, Mazi Emmanuel Uche, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Sonacop Industrial Limited, assured that the electorate in Arochukwu would deliver all other candidates of the Labour Party to ensure continuity of the present transformative government in the state.

According to Mazi Uche, Governor Otti has justified the mandate entrusted to him by the majority of Abia citizens through the execution of numerous socio-economic and infrastructural projects across the senatorial districts of Abia State.

According to the party chieftain, the giant strides recorded by the present administration led by Governor Otti in human capital development have fostered even development in rural and urban communities across the state.

Aside from the development of critical infrastructure across all local government areas of Abia State, Mazi Emmanuel Uche explained that the Dr Otti-led government has improved the state’s education system and healthcare delivery services.

He revealed that state-owned public schools have been upgraded with state-of-the-art facilities, including new classroom blocks and equipped laboratories to accelerate teaching and learning in primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions.

“Teachers and lecturers are trained, and new teachers are recruited, employed, and posted across public schools in enhancing teaching and learning for every Abia pupil and student.

“The Governor Alex Otti government provided necessary medical facilities and facelifted all general and special hospitals, as well as upgraded and equipped health centres across the areas in Abia State with medical equipment to ensure efficiency in the state’s healthcare delivery services and also for citizens’ accessibility to healthcare,” he stated.

Reiterating the readiness of Abia people to ensure the current government’s continuity beyond next year, Mazi Emmanuel Uche declared that there is no vacancy in the State Government House come next year, insisting that Governor Otti’s re-election for a second term in office is non-negotiable.

The frontline Southeast stalwart of the Labour Party asked Governor Alex Otti to relax and await his coming inauguration for another term in office, as his giant leadership strides had already secured him total victory in the forthcoming Abia gubernatorial election in 2027.
