NCPC EXECUTIVE SECRETARY SYMPATHISES WITH FAMILIES OF 25 AIR FORCE PLANE CRASH VICTIMS IN ONDO

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, has joined well-meaning Nigerians to sympathise and condole with the families of the 25 victims who lost their lives on 5th October 2026, following the military plane crash which occurred in Igbokoda, Ondo State.

In a statement released on Sunday, the Executive Secretary described the incident as most unfortunate and a deeply painful experience for the Nigerian Air Force and the country.

He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the 25 gallant victims who lost their lives while on national assignment.

He also extended his condolences to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Tinubu, GCFR, as well as the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, for this tragic loss.

The NCPC helmsman urged the Federal Government to ensure that the cause of the plane crash is unravelled in order to forestall future occurrences.

Bishop Adegbite prayed that the Good Lord will grant the souls of the 25 military personnel eternal rest and grant their families, friends and colleagues the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

He further urged serving military personnel not to be deterred by the unfortunate tragic incident but to continue to put in their best in the service of the nation, as their efforts will never be in vain.
