August 2025: First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada Abuja Celebrates August Birthday Thanksgiving
The August Birthday Celebrants of First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada Abuja, on Sunday, offered thanksgiving to God in appreciation of His faithfulness, mercy, and goodness in their lives. The celebrants expressed gratitude for the grace to witness another 365 days in the year 2025.
The August celebrants include: Mama Olatumdun Abigail, Mrs. Naomi Adelabu, Mr. Gbemileke Moses, Mr. Mathew Ayoola, Mr. Adebimpe Adebayo, and Amb. Mobolaji Peter.
Others are Mr. Ogunbiyi Ayo, Mrs. Adesina Bose, Mrs. Adebayo Ruth, Mrs. Adesina Kate Oluwatoyin, Asade Isaac A., Daniela Auomide, Aremu Makinde, Amos Makinde Favour, Felix & Francis Akinpelu, Elijah Oladele, Jeremiah Ogundapo, Oyewole Mercy, Ademola Ajuwon, Joseph Deborah A., Caroline K. Popoola, and Nurse Adebayo Gloria A.
The list also includes Lawal Olaoluwa, Samuel Ayopesi, Mrs. Oketuntun Mary, Olalekan Temitope, Ajayi Stephen, Osonubi Adetoun, Opadere Abosede, and Adejumo Moradeke.
In his goodwill message, the Minister in charge, Reverend Deji Oyelami, urged the celebrants to continually show gratitude to God through thanksgiving and genuine commitment to His service and to humanity.
While congratulating them for the gift of life, Reverend Oyelami emphasized the importance of Christians cultivating a lifestyle of thanksgiving in all circumstances, noting that such an attitude attracts divine blessings and breakthroughs, especially during challenging times.
“Never stop being thankful, because God will never stop being good,” Reverend Oyelami declared.
Highlights of the August Thanksgiving celebration included the cutting of the group annual birthday cake, presentation of gifts to the church and its leadership, and special prayers for the celebrants.
