Breaking: Nasarawa APC loses Deputy Chairman

The Deputy Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in Nasarawa State, Hon. Aliyu Yakubu Barde is dead.

Barde died in Lafia, after a brief illness, on Tuesday morning.

Confirming the demise, State Publicity Secretary of the party, High Chief Otaru Douglas, said Barde’s death is a big loss to the party and state in general.

Barde served as Interim Management Commitee (IMC) Chairman of Wamba LGA during the administration of former Governor, Umaru Tanko Almakura.

City post gathered that the deceased will be buried in his hometown, Wamba today according to Islamic rites.
