A Chief Magistrates’ Court sitting in Okitipupa, Ondo State, on Friday ordered the remand of a 25-year-old man, Ayo Ajibade, at the Okitipupa Correctional Centre for allegedly stealing four tubers of yam valued at N10,000.
The presiding Chief Magistrate, Mayowa Olanipekun, remanded Ajibade until January 29, 2026, pending the court’s judgment after the defendant pleaded guilty to a two-count charge bordering on felony and stealing.
