The Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to recognising and rewarding officers who uphold the core values of the Force.
CP Morris made the statement over the weekend in Yola while presenting a merit award to Chief Superintendent of Police Ahmed Rasheed.

Describing the honour as well-earned, the Commissioner commended CSP Rasheed for displaying a high level of professionalism in his role as Commander of the CTU 14 Base in Adamawa State. He noted that the officer’s recognition as Commander of the Year reflects both his dedication and his deep understanding of police operations.
CP Morris emphasised that the award serves not only as appreciation for CSP Rasheed’s hard work but also as evidence of his firm grounding in the responsibilities of the Force.
While congratulating the officer, the Commissioner stated that it is the deliberate policy of the State Command to identify and reward deserving personnel across ranks as a strategy to motivate improved performance.
He further urged CSP Rasheed to sustain the qualities that earned him the recognition and to remain a positive example for his colleagues within the Force.
