EACCI Issues Certificates of Appointment to Local Implementation Partners in Nigeria
The European Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industries (EACCI) has officially presented Certificates of Appointment to two of its Local Implementation Partners in Nigeria.
The recipients are Arc. Dr. Austin Ilenre Emuan, Managing Director/CEO of Gothic-Len Consortium Limited, and Olokhifa Maureen Aghomon, Managing Director/CEO of Moricol Healthcare Services Limited.
At the presentation ceremony in Abuja, the Director General of EACCI, Amb. Dr. Kingsley Obasohan, explained that one of the Chamber’s key objectives is to promote trade while also implementing development projects, hence the need for appointing Local Implementation Partners in Nigeria.
According to him, the mandate of the Local Implementation Partners is to collaborate with the Treaty Implementation Board of EACCI in executing projects across specific countries, including Nigeria.
He noted that the Chamber’s focus in Nigeria covers housing, healthcare, agriculture, oil and gas, energy, construction, and food security, which are critical to the nation’s economic growth.
“The Local Implementation Partners will join EACCI in carrying out these projects as required by the Nigerian Government. Nigeria is one of the largest economies in Africa, which is why we are also involved in projects in oil and gas, energy, agriculture, and food security, among others, to drive economic advancement,” he said.
Highlighting some of the ongoing initiatives, Amb. Dr. Obasohan revealed that EACCI is currently developing 6,000 housing units in the Dei-Dei area of the Federal Capital Territory. He added that the Chamber has already invested about $3 billion across various sectors of Nigeria’s economy in 2025.
He further disclosed that the Local Implementation Partners were carefully selected and are expected to deliver on their assigned projects within 26 months, urging them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the Chamber.
In her remarks, Olokhifa Maureen Aghomon, CEO of Moricol Healthcare Services Limited, emphasized that “health is wealth,” pledging to execute healthcare projects that will improve affordability and accessibility of quality healthcare for Nigerians.
She thanked EACCI for the recognition and assured that her company would deliver services in line with international best practices.
On his part, Arc. Dr. Austin Ilenre Emuan, CEO of Gothic-Len Consortium Limited, promised to deliver quality housing projects. He expressed concern over Nigeria’s housing challenges and said his company’s collaboration with EACCI would help reduce the country’s housing deficit.
