FAAC Disburses ₦1.928trn Federation Revenue for November 2025

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a total of ₦1.928 trillion among the Federal Government, state governments, and Local Government Councils (LGCs) as Federation Allocation for November 2025, from a gross revenue of ₦2.343 trillion.

The Director of Information and Public Relations, Mohammed Manga, disclosed this in a statement, noting that the allocation was approved at FAAC’s December 2025 meeting chaired by the Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite.

According to the statement, the Federal Government received ₦747.159 billion, states were allocated ₦601.731 billion, while Local Government Councils got ₦445.266 billion. Oil-producing states received ₦134.355 billion as 13 per cent derivation revenue.

It further explained that ₦84.251 billion was deducted as cost of collection, while ₦330.625 billion was earmarked for Transfers, Interventions, and Refunds.

The FAAC communiqué revealed that gross Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue for November 2025 stood at ₦563.042 billion, a decline of ₦156.785 billion from the ₦719.827 billion recorded in October. From the VAT proceeds, ₦22.522 billion was deducted as cost of collection and ₦54.682 billion allocated for Transfers, Interventions, and Refunds. The remaining ₦485.838 billion was distributed, with the Federal Government receiving ₦72.876 billion, states ₦242.919 billion, and Local Government Councils ₦170.043 billion.

Gross statutory revenue for the month amounted to ₦1.736 trillion, representing a decrease of ₦427.969 billion from ₦2.164 trillion in October. From this, ₦59.993 billion was deducted as cost of collection, while ₦273.925 billion went to Transfers, Interventions, and Refunds. The balance of ₦1.403 trillion was shared, with the Federal Government receiving ₦668.336 billion, states ₦338.989 billion, Local Government Councils ₦261.346 billion, and oil-producing states ₦134.355 billion as derivation revenue.

FAAC also distributed ₦43.400 billion from the Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL), allocating ₦5.947 billion to the Federal Government, ₦19.823 billion to states, and ₦13.876 billion to Local Government Councils. From the EMTL proceeds, ₦1.736 billion was deducted as cost of collection, while ₦2.018 billion was set aside for Transfers, Refunds, and Savings.

The communiqué noted a modest increase in Excise Duty during the period, but reported significant declines in several major revenue sources, including Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT), Hydrocarbon Tax (HT), Company Income Tax (CIT), Oil and Gas Royalties, Import Duty, CET Levies, VAT, EMTL, and other fees.

Overall, the ₦1.928 trillion shared for November 2025 was derived from ₦1.403 trillion in statutory revenue, ₦485.838 billion from VAT, and ₦39.646 billion from EMTL.
