Former Agriculture Minister Chief Audu Ogbeh Passes On — OUK Mourns a True Patriot

Former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, has passed away, drawing tributes from across the nation.

In a condolence message, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu described Ogbeh as a man of uncommon wisdom, humility, and integrity, whose passion for Nigeria’s growth—especially in agriculture and rural development—was unmatched.

“I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing of former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh. Nigeria has lost a true patriot,” Kalu said.

He extended heartfelt condolences to the Ogbeh family, the government and people of Benue State, and all Nigerians mourning the elder statesman, praying to God to grant him eternal rest and give his loved ones the strength to bear the loss.
