The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will run from January 26 to February 28 at all approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across the country.
The announcement was made on Saturday in Lagos during a meeting with Commissioners for Education ahead of the 2025 UTME and Direct Entry exercises.
Speaking at the meeting, JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, explained that the sale of UTME application documents would commence earlier than the official registration period.
According to him, the sale of the UTME application document, known as the e-PIN, will begin from January 19 to February 26, ahead of the start of actual registration.
He stated: “The sale of UTME application document, which is the e-PIN, will start earlier than the commencement of actual registration. The actual UTME registration period is between January 26 and February 28 at all approved CBT centres.”
Professor Oloyede also disclosed that, unlike in the previous year, the results of underage candidates will only be released after the conclusion of the entire evaluation process.
