Just in :Agada Emmanuel is now Senate’s substantive Clerk

Acting Clerk of Senate, Mr Agada Rawlings Emmanuel, has been confirmed as the substantive clerk.

His confirmation letter by the National Assembly Service Commission [NASC] was issued on Friday, June 27, 2025.

The confirmation took effect from June 26, 2025.

The confirmation letter was signed by the executive chairman of the National Assembly Service commission, Chief Dr Saviour Enyiekere.

Other redeployments that happened in the exercise by the NASC included:

Mr. Emmanuel Odo, former Deputy Clerk, Senate, Administration, who is now redeployed in the House of Representatives, as Deputy Clerk, Legislative.

Mrs. Vivian Njemanze moved from the House of Representatives as Deputy clerk, Administration, to Senate, as deputy clerk, Legislative.

The former clerk, Senate, Mr. Andrew Nwoba, has been redeployed in the office of the clerk to the National Assembly.
