Kogi @ 34: Senator Echocho Felicitates Governor Ododo, Founding Fathers
As Kogi State celebrates its 34th anniversary, the Senator representing Kogi East, Jibrin Isah Echocho, has extended his felicitations to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, his Deputy, Comrade Joel Oyibo, and the entire people of the state.
In a statement personally signed and made available to journalists on Wednesday, the lawmaker also celebrated the founding fathers and heroes of the state, both living and departed, acknowledging their immense contributions to the creation of Kogi State.
Echocho said:
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Kogi East, I heartily celebrate with our amiable Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, his Deputy, Comrade Joel Oyibo, and the entire people of Kogi State on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of our dear state.
“I also extend warm felicitations to our heroes and founding fathers, both living and departed, for their enormous contributions to the success story of Kogi State.”
The Senator commended Governor Ododo for what he described as remarkable achievements in infrastructure development across the state within two years of his leadership, noting that his impact has been felt across various sectors. He added that the administration has positively shaped the state in readiness for a greater future.
“I am proud to be part of this great milestone. Within just two years of your leadership, Your Excellency, Kogi State has witnessed remarkable achievements cutting across all sectors. By words and by actions, you have positively shaped the future of our dear state and placed her on the path of sustainable development.
“I wish you and your team sound health, wisdom, understanding, and God’s continued protection as you pilot the affairs of our dear state.
“Once again, accept my heartfelt felicitations on this auspicious occasion of Kogi @34.”
