National Assembly Reschedules Resumption of Plenary to October 7
The presiding officers of both chambers of the National Assembly have announced a change in the resumption date for plenary activities.
In a statement signed by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana Esq, members of the public and all lawmakers were informed that the resumption, earlier slated for Tuesday, September 23, 2025, has been postponed to Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
The statement, however, clarified that committee activities would continue as scheduled.
“All Distinguished Senators and Honourable Members are requested to take note of the new date and adjust their schedules accordingly. Any inconvenience caused by this rescheduling is deeply regretted,” the Clerk noted.
