The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has extended warm congratulations to Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu, and all Nigerians as the nation marks its 65th Independence Anniversary.

In a goodwill message delivered on behalf of the Chairman, Board, and staff of the Commission, Bishop Adegbite described the 65-year journey of nationhood as a remarkable milestone worthy of celebration.

He expressed confidence that Nigeria’s best years are still ahead, stressing that while every nation faces challenges, the collective will of the people has the power to transform the country’s story for the better.

According to him, Nigeria will remain a force to reckon with in the comity of nations and is already on the path of greatness. He urged citizens at home and abroad to continue to proclaim positive affirmations over the nation, declaring that no force of darkness will succeed in destabilizing it.

Bishop Adegbite further encouraged Nigerians to support the administration of President Bola Tinubu in his efforts to rebuild the nation, noting that the dividends of democracy are gradually being felt through the government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He also felicitated with the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who shares the same birth year with Nigeria, describing her as the “Mother of the Nation.” He emphasized that her shared birthday with the country is not by coincidence but by divine providence.

Concluding his message, Bishop Adegbite called on Nigeria to “arise and shine, for her time has come.”
