The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission NCPC Bishop Stephen Adegbite says the Economic Reforms of the present administration will reposition the country for sustainable development.

Bishop Adegbite while addressing this year’s staff retreat in Gora Nasarawa state said there was a need for Nigerians to support president Tinubu with prayers for the country to overcome her challenges.

Bishop Adegbite explained that”Since President Tinubu assumed office, did you hear of ASUU strike, though there are many other challenges in some other areas, we are going to overcome. Let us give more time to Mr. President, let us continue to pray for him.”

He assured that the retreat with the theme “Entrenching Service and Satisfaction in Pilgrimage for Effective service delivery” was to prepare the commission for 2025 exercise.

Bishop Adegbite commended the Federal Government for the support accorded to the commission towards the success of the just concluded 2024 exercise which recorded zero abscondment.

Adegbite gave a strong warning that ” If you want to Japa, you don’t need to come to us. If you go with us you must come back to Nigeria. If you want to run away, is it where they are fighting you want to run to.

According to Opara “Every Nigerian starting from the NCPC group here should go back to farming. Nigeria as a nation consumes 4.5 million metric tons of fish annually, and we are producing less than one point three metric tons. So if every one of us has a fish farm we will produce enough fish. The money we are wasting in importing fish from Norway will be channel that would be huge to help our people and then we create
employment.
So I want to encourage us that Nigeria is blessed with forty million hectares of land.”

“Most nations in the world today do not have the land we have and our land is wide rich and I believe that we can do a lot to change the narrative”
