The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has announced that the postponed Easter Pilgrimage exercise will officially commence on September 14, 2025, in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

This disclosure was made by the Executive Secretary of NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, during an event in Abuja marking his 57th birthday celebration, organized by the management and staff of the Commission.

According to Bishop Adegbite, the 2025 Easter Pilgrimage was earlier scheduled to hold but had to be suspended due to the crisis in the Middle East. He expressed gratitude to God for 37 years of service in His vineyard, describing the Commission as a family and pilgrimage as his life’s passion.

He thanked the management and staff of NCPC for their love and support, assuring them that he shares in both their challenges and their successes. He also expressed confidence that Nigeria would soon overcome its present difficulties and rise to greatness again.

Bishop Adegbite further commended President Bola Tinubu, noting that he is on the right path, and appreciated the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, along with other national leaders, for their contributions.
