Now Rest In Peace!

Two years after you left office, the curtain falls. You can now rest in peace, after many rumours of your death and the public perception that your remaining tenure was served out by one guy from Sudan. Though a lie from the pit of hell, but seemed very believable by the gullibility of human mind . Believable because of the transformation that took place in you after your illness then. To those rumour mongers, your demise now could be seen as the formalization of your death that occured years ago. Rest in peace now Baba!!

You would have entered into the annals of history as the best President Nigeria never had, if you didn’t become our President for 8 years. Regretfully, you were and those mysteries of yours demystified by your actions and inactions as our President for 8 years.

Rest in peace General Buhari. You came and you saw. I doubt if you were able to conquer the myriad of Nigeria challenges, we all thought your highly louded integrity could handle, settle and melt them so seamlessly.

Not all that glitter is gold. Real governance is poles apart from campaigns for elections. Your intentions may be good but the depth and capacity to pull Nigeria from the dungeon of corruption and misrule you obviously lacked. The sound of a bitter kola is usually very different from the taste.

Rest in Peace! The level you took us to after your 8 years of your presidency is today made worse, leaving many innocent souls gone untimely to this very path you walked through at this ripe age of 82 years.

May you find rest. Your curtain has fallen today. Ours bound to fall one day regardless of how lowly and how highly. Vanity upon Vanity, all is Vanity.
