The Abia State Secretary of OUK Movement, Barr. Sam Ogbonna, has reaffirmed the relevance and strength of the group in the political landscape of Abia State and Nigeria at large, highlighting the enduring legacy and leadership of its founder, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

In a statement, Barr. Ogbonna described OUK Movement as a formidable pro-political group rooted in loyalty, service, and strategic support for Senator Kalu, one of Nigeria’s most influential political figures.

“The acronym OUK, which stands for Orji Uzor Kalu, is a household name not just in Nigeria but across the globe. From inception, OUK Movement has been a pro-group no one can afford to treat with levity,” Ogbonna noted.

“Our formidable status distinguishes us from other pro-political groups in Abia.”

He stressed that since pro-groups naturally align with the political parties of their founders, the OUK Movement is firmly behind Senator Kalu, its visionary founder, political strategist, and philanthropist.

According to him, members of the Movement, especially those from Abia North Senatorial District, have a moral obligation to continue their support.

“Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, as former Executive Governor of Abia State, made men and women who have served and are still serving in various political capacities across Nigeria. The only position he has not produced is Nigeria’s number one seat,” Ogbonna stated.
