The Plateau Intercessors Ministry has announced plans to hold a series of special prayer sessions for peace and good governance, focusing on the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and the Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang.

The prayer sessions are scheduled to commence on Saturday, October 25, 2025, and will culminate on Friday, October 31, 2025, with an interdenominational Special Prayer Conference for political, traditional, and religious leaders across the state.

With the theme “Eradicating Rivalry and Promoting Civic and Civil Engagement,” the event will take place at the Ulster Church Auditorium in Gindiri, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.

According to the Chairman of the Publicity Committee, Mr. Nathaniel Wuyep, prayers will also be offered for other leaders in political, religious, and traditional spheres across the country.

The conference will be chaired by Rt. Hon. Gabriel Dewan, member representing Pankshin North in the Plateau State House of Assembly, with Mrs. Edwina Kungmi serving as Chairlady. The keynote address will be delivered by Rev. Jacob Dashop, Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) Provincial Church Council (PCC), Gindiri.

The ministry has extended an open invitation to Christians in the state to participate in the prayers and conference aimed at fostering peace and good governance in Plateau and Nigeria at large. It also appealed to well-meaning individuals and organizations for support to fund ongoing projects that provide assistance to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), orphans, and less privileged student pastors in the state.
