President-General of MUT Congratulates New Service Chiefs, Urges Renewed Action Against Insecurity

The President-General of the Tiv Socio-Cultural Organization, Mdzough U Tiv (MUT) Worldwide, Chief Iorbee Ihagh (rtd), has congratulated the newly appointed Chief of Defence Staff, Lt. General Olufemi Oluyode, and other Service Chiefs recently decorated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In his congratulatory message, Chief Ihagh, a retired Controller of Prisons, charged the new military leadership to intensify their efforts, particularly in dismantling emerging armed groups threatening peace and stability across the nation.
He specifically urged the Service Chiefs to focus on tackling insecurity in the North Central, North West, and parts of the South, stressing the urgent need to restore lasting peace in these regions.
Chief Ihagh, who also serves as the spokesman for all ethnic groups in Nigeria, expressed confidence that the new Chief of Army Staff and his colleagues would bring their wealth of experience and professionalism to bear in executing their duties effectively.
He emphasized the importance of deploying every available resource to curb the activities of both old and newly formed criminal groups nationwide.
