Senator Echocho Hands Over Acharu Palm Oil Mill Plant to Dekina LGA

The senator representing Kogi East, Senator Isah Jibrin (Echocho), has handed over the Acharu Palm Oil Mill Plant to Dekina local government area.

Senator Jibrin in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity,Mikail Ibrahim says that the Plant was handed over to the local government through the lawmaker’s Senior Legislative Aide, Alhaji Abubakar Rajab who described the project as a promise kept for the overall economic development of Acharu community, in the Dekina Local government Area of kogi state.

The Caretaker Chairman of the local government Hon John Urah Ikani, while receiving the plant, applauded the Senator for the laudable project, and stressed that the Plant will change the face of Acharu economy in particular and the state at large when put into effective use.

He advised the indigenous Acharu community to take ownership of the plant and to protect it against vandalism.

Rajab, on behalf of his Principal, assured the people of Acharu more of dividends of democracy.

The brief ceremony was witnessed by representatives of Acharu community and other notable Nigerians from the state.
