I’m Not Trying to Snatch Davido From Chioma – Ka3na Clarifies After Backlash

Former BBNaija housemate, Katrina Jones, popularly known as Ka3na, has spoken out following heavy criticism over a photoshopped image she shared, replacing Chioma with herself in Davido’s pre-wedding pictures.

Naijaonpoint reports that although Ka3na initially congratulated Davido and Chioma on their wedding, her edited post drew backlash and accusations of disrespect from social media users before it was later deleted.

Reacting in a follow-up statement on Instagram, Ka3na explained that her intentions were harmless, stressing that she has no romantic interest in Davido. She described the act as lighthearted and emphasized her genuine support for the couple.

She noted that those who know her personally, including Davido, are aware of her goodwill towards them. According to her, people should be more focused on offering sincere prayers and support for the marriage rather than fueling unnecessary controversy online.

Ka3na, who identified herself as a widow, single mother, and entrepreneur, maintained that she would never wish anyone harm.

Her post partly read:
“Millionaire at 19. Wife at 22. Mother at 25. Three decades later… a billionaire with multiple streams of income. So what’s all the noise really about? Abi una think say I wan snatch Mr David from him gorgeous wife? Please, I do white men only.

“Normally, I wouldn’t even respond. But because my intentions are genuine, I need to clear the air.

“I love David and his beautiful wife. Those closest to me know how highly I speak of them. Even @davido knows I support and pray for him from afar.

“It’s not just about showing empty love online. Do you actually pray for them?

“How many of you can honestly say you’ve prayed in private for their marriage to succeed, not just dropped fake public love in the comments? I can.”

She further described herself as a virtuous woman committed to her responsibilities beyond social media, facing life’s real challenges with focus and resilience.
