Portable Appeals to Tiwa Savage for Support, Shares Chats on Behalf of His New Artiste

Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has once again reached out to his senior colleague, Tiwa Savage, with a heartfelt appeal.

Taking to his Instagram page, Portable shared screenshots of his direct messages to the Afrobeat star, requesting her support for his newly signed artiste, Ifeoluwa Bolanle Babatunde, popularly known as Sexy Shay.

In another screenshot shared online, Sexy Shay had also contacted Tiwa Savage, expressing appreciation for her encouragement. Tiwa responded by urging the upcoming singer to send over her available record options.

Portable, visibly grateful, praised the award-winning singer for being a “talk-and-do godmother,” declaring her the “Queen of Africa.” He pleaded with Tiwa Savage to help transform his artiste’s career.

@iam_sexyshay Congratulations,” Portable wrote.

This is not the first time Portable has openly celebrated Tiwa Savage. Last year, he declared her his mother after sharing a video of their meeting in London, where he described her as the “Ogbanje of Africa” and crowned her the “number one of Africa.”

In February 2023, the street-hop singer also shared a private chat with Tiwa, hailing her as the “Mama Ika of Africa” and thanking her for her love and support.

Later that year, in December, Portable encountered the singer once more at the British Fashion Awards in London. In viral clips, he was seen hailing and hugging Tiwa Savage, whom he called his godmother, before showering her with prayers.
