Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr. Danladi Jatau, has expressed confidence that Governor Abdullahi Sule’s outstanding performance will guarantee continuity in governance beyond 2027.

Dr. Jatau stated this on Tuesday while receiving the 13 local government chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, noting that the governor’s achievements have continued to attract opposition members, supporters, and other residents into the party’s fold.

The Speaker maintained that no opposition force would prevent the smooth transition of leadership in 2027, as Governor Sule’s administration has set a solid foundation for sustained development.

According to him, both at the national and state levels, the ruling party has continued to deliver on its promises, adding that the government’s performance has strengthened public trust and confidence.

“This is a father-and-sons visitation, and I sincerely appreciate you for recognizing our efforts in the House. We are happy to work in harmony with His Excellency, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, to ensure the success of his administration,” Jatau said.

He further commended Governor Sule’s developmental strides across the state, describing him as a “God-sent leader whose impact has continued to draw more people into the fold.”

“We are proud of his achievements and will continue to give him our full support to complete his tenure successfully,” the Speaker added.

Dr. Jatau urged all stakeholders and members of the ruling party to remain united and committed to the peace and progress of the state, while calling on citizens to continue praying for the governor’s success as his tenure winds down in 2027.

Earlier in his remarks, the leader of the delegation and APC Chairman of Lafia Local Government Area, Umar Aliyu Galadima, said the visit was aimed at fostering stronger collaboration between the party’s leadership and lawmakers.

Galadima praised the Speaker and other legislators for their steadfast support for the governor and reaffirmed the unwavering loyalty of all 13 local government chairmen to Governor Sule’s leadership.

“Our loyalty to His Excellency, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, is absolute. He is our leader, and we will continue to stand by him and follow his directives for the success of the party and the state,” Galadima said.
