Igwe Awobo Lauds Anambra Citizens for Soludo’s Reelection, Highlights Governor’s Transformative Leadership

The Igwe Awobo of Iruogbo, Dusogu, Awkuzu, HRH Ikechukwu Nwokechi, has commended the people of Anambra State for reelecting Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as governor, noting his transformative leadership and unwavering commitment to the state’s development.

Speaking with journalists in Abuja, Nwokechi praised Soludo’s performance, saying the governor has given Anambra a new face and driven positive change.

He lauded Soludo’s inclusive approach to governance, which he said has earned widespread support from stakeholders across the state. Nwokechi urged Anambra residents to remain united behind the governor, emphasizing that Soludo is steering the state in the right direction.

The monarch also commended Dr. Emmanuel Ikechukwu Nweke, Executive Chairman of Oyi Local Government Area, for his continued support of the Soludo administration. “He has been very supportive, and I commend him for his performance,” he added.

Under Soludo’s leadership, Anambra State has experienced notable progress, with improvements in infrastructure, education, and healthcare. The state has also recorded increased investment and economic growth, positioning it as one of Nigeria’s most attractive destinations.

Soludo’s achievements include constructing multiple roads, bridges, and public buildings, as well as establishing new educational and healthcare institutions. He has also pursued policies that promote agriculture and entrepreneurship, creating jobs and boosting economic activity.

The governor has further been lauded for his dedication to transparency and accountability, introducing initiatives that encourage good governance and curb corruption.

Nwokechi remarked that Soludo’s reelection reflects his popularity and the people’s trust in his leadership. “The people of Anambra have spoken, and they have chosen a leader who has their best interests at heart,” he said.

He encouraged Soludo to maintain his current trajectory, expressing optimism that Anambra citizens are anticipating even greater achievements from his administration. He also called on residents to continue supporting their governor, saying collective effort will yield significant progress.
